Scope of Role

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a driven, talented individual to join our business in this newly created role. As you won’t be replacing anyone, this role will commence the creation of our own in-house IT support; as such, you can really make this role your own!

This is a standalone role (technical support is available in-house) responsible for all IT-based operations and management across our Group. The key function of this role is to ensure an excellent internal stakeholder experience and a seamless customer-oriented IT experience for all end users. The role encompasses first line of support, troubleshooting, project work, and infrastructure interaction across our head office and satellite locations.

You will also be responsible for monitoring IT assets and taking ownership of the IT onboarding and offboarding process. You will deliver efficient operation and control of our IT and/or Telecommunication infrastructure.

We are looking for someone able to propose and implement best practice solutions, uphold our accreditations, and introduce best IT practices.

Skills & Knowledge

Office 365 Systems Administration Experience Working knowledge of MS Office (focus on Excel) Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues Ability to form effective working relationships quickly with key stakeholders (internal and external) Good communication and interpersonal skills to be patient with others, able to build rapport, summarise key facts, and relay information in a timely and effective manner Excellent organisational skills and knows what is required to ensure great outcomes Attention to detail, quick and accurate, notices when information doesn’t look right and corrects errors or escalates as appropriate ensuring commitment to high standards Ability to work to and meet deadlines and problem solve with conflicting priorities

Personal Qualities Analytical mind-set Strong team player with a ‘can do’ attitude Ability to problem solve to reach a suitable solution Ability to interact with stakeholders at varying levels Able to manage your own time with conflicting demands Holistic approach to problem solving Self-driven with the ability to use your initiative An interest within aviation or related industry Willingness to travel (access to own transport)

Qualification Requirements 4+ years experience in a comparable role Driving Licence or ability to travel to alternative sometimes remote locations infrequently Level 5 qualification in a relevant discipline (or equivalent qualification) Right to work within the UK Vetting and security clearance (as required by role, location or client)

Preferred Skills and/or Knowledge Experience in delivering first line support Microsoft 365 Certifications Skills in CI/CD Experience of Cloud web hosting Knowledge of large-scale databases and designing data schemas

This role is a full-time permanent position based on 37.5 hours per week worked Monday to Friday. There is a requirement to be able to support operational work that may on rare occasions fall outside of core business hours.

In return, we offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays combined with a competitive salary (depending on experience).
