Key Responsibilities: Design, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share resources, contributing to a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum. Engage with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns. Play an active role in the school community, participating in extracurricular activities and supporting school events. The Ideal Candidate: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in English or a related field. Has proven experience teaching English at the secondary level, with a thorough understanding of the national curriculum. Possesses a deep passion for English literature and language, with the ability to inspire students of all abilities. Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills and the ability to cultivate a stimulating learning environment. Exhibits strong organisational and communication skills, thriving in a collaborative team setting.
