Finishing Manager

We are currently recruiting for a main contractor who is looking for an experienced Finishing Manager to join their team on a regeneration project in Ealing. To start with, you will be working on a new build school fitting out all of the classrooms and facilities to a high standard from 1st fix through to finish. Once this area is finished, there are a number of blocks of flats that are being fitted as well, and you will move over to this as it is a long project.
You must have experience of working for a main contractor on similar schemes
You will be able to demonstrate working with clients during the finishing/internal phases of the project
You will be able to demonstrate strong commercial awareness (SLA’s, time of build, quality, profit etc.)
Proven experience of successfully managing a sub-contractor workforce to a high standard.
Strong leadership and people management skills to ensure that objectives are achieved
Good oral and written communication skills;
A methodical, systematic and logical approach;
Focus and drive to achieve targets, budgets and results;
Strong understanding of health & safety processes
Current SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid certificates.
Stable work history, not jumpy
