Our Holiday Club Manager will lead a team of Playworkers in delivering a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children aged 4-11. In collaboration with the Regional Manager and other Holiday Club Managers, you’ll ensure that our holiday clubs provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children. As Holiday Club Manager, you’ll lead, motivate, and support your team, ensure Ofsted compliance, and manage the day-to-day running of the club. Key Responsibilities
Childcare and Play:
Lead the team to deliver a high standard of care in line with Playwork Principles, supporting physical, emotional, and social development. Team Leadership:
Inspire and guide your team to bring energy and enthusiasm, ensuring that children have a positive experience. Activity Coordination:
Plan and oversee child-led play, crafts, cookery, and physical activities, ensuring each session is well-organized. Health and Safety:
Ensure all safety measures are followed, handle risk assessments, and provide first aid as required. Parent and Staff Communication:
Build positive relationships with parents and school staff to support each child's wellbeing and development. Administrative Tasks:
Assist with record-keeping, activity planning, staff schedules, and stock management, averaging around 1 hour weekly as overtime. Site Upkeep:
Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the play area, ensuring a welcoming environment. Outreach and Development:
Participate in external communications, attend events, and help market Clubland's activities to the community. Who We’re Looking For
Skills:
Creative, communicative, and organized with strong leadership and self-motivation Experience:
Experience working with children and managing teams, with familiarity in activity planning and risk management Knowledge:
Basic understanding of Playwork Principles, safeguarding, and EYFS requirements Values:

Certifications:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Playwork, Paediatric First Aid, Basic Food & Hygiene, and Safeguarding/Child Protection Experience:

Awareness of Ofsted requirements and the Childcare Act 2006 Values:
