The Corporate Counsel will oversee the company’s contract lifecycle, including partnering with and advising various business units throughout the contract lifecycle and leading contract negotiations. The Corporate Counsel will also assist with legal and regulatory compliance and provide general legal support, including assisting with disputes, litigations and management of the company’s IP rights. A JD and a minimum of five years of experience as a practicing lawyer. Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively negotiate contracts, balance internal and external interests and achieve successful outcomes. Experience with negotiation of information technology/SAAS contracts, and knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy laws preferred but not required. Able to clearly articulate complex ideas and resolve legal and business problems related to contracts and regulatory compliance. Admitted to practice law in Rhode Island or be willing and eligible to seek admission. Why Work Here….
