Fantastic opportunity for a part qualified or qualified Accountant to join a renowned organisation in the energy sector. As Management Accountant, you’ll take charge of the management accounts for designated entities, delivering key financial and operational reports, and ensuring a robust system of internal controls. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller. Duties will include: Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Providing detailed financial and management reports to improve decision-making, aligning with group standards and statutory requirements. Forecasting and Budgeting:

Preparing forecasts and budgets for assigned entities, ready for Financial Controller review. Cash and Tax Management:

Overseeing cash management and forecasting and assist in the preparation of corporation tax packs and VAT returns. Control and Compliance:

Ensuring the integrity of nominal ledgers and enhance financial controls to meet business objectives. Operational Support:

Producing cost and margin analysis, labour analysis, and R&D spend monitoring to support operational decisions. Systems and Process Improvement:

Contributing to ongoing accounting system improvements. The ideal applicant will have experience in a similar role with exposure to international intercompany entities and reconciliations. Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Accountant or actively pursuing a professional accountancy qualification. Degree in Accountancy or a related field. Proven experience in management accounting or a similar role. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft D365. Personal Attributes: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. High commercial acumen and attention to detail. Organised, analytical, and systematic in problem-solving.
