Location: Morpeth, Northumberland
Salary: £45,000 - £80,000 per annum
Working hours: Full Time or Part Time, minimum 3 days
Experience level: Newly qualified or experienced GOC registered Optometrist

About The Role
Specsavers in Morpeth have an exciting opportunity for an Optometrist to join their team on a full or part time basis. We’re a community-focused store dedicated to ensuring that every one of our customers receives an excellent patient experience.We offer an excellent clinical environment with 2 test rooms and another soon to be converted, all with autophoropters and OCT. There is a close-knit experienced clinical team of Optometrists, Contact Lens Optician and Dispensing Opticians.
We are very focused on the work/life balance and flexibility of our team, so would love to talk to you about your ideal working week, whether that is that you would like fixed days or less weekend working - we want to make it work for you.
About The Area
Morpethis located towards the Southern end of Northumberland, approximately 15 miles North of Newcastle Upon Tyne and 18 miles South of Alnwick. There are plenty of things to do in Morpeth, take a trip to the Sanderson Arcade which is a beautifully created shopping area that is definitely worth a mention as an attraction, not just a place to shop. Carlisle Park is a beautiful public open space and has tennis courts, children's play areas, rowing boats and a skate park. Just outside of Morpeth is the Whitehouse Farm Centre, a 40 acre farm with a large range of exciting animals, they have been welcoming and educating visitors for years. There are walks that take you through woodland and along the river banks, excellent golf facilities and Farmers markets, as well as Mosques nearby. What We’d Love To See Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist, we would really love to see an Optometrist that is willing to be is flexible if we need additional cover.
