Job Description We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing independent accountancy practice based in Maidenhead. We are seeking additional support to provide a high level of service to our varied client base. Our client specializes in accounts and tax compliance and consultancy services for small to medium-sized businesses and high net worth individuals. Their services include bookkeeping, payroll, bespoke accounts, and tax advice.

Key Responsibilities: General administration tasks Bookkeeping duties Preparation of statutory and sole trader accounts Preparing VAT returns Companies House compliance In this role, you will handle source information provided by clients, both in paper and electronic form, to complete the required VAT return or accounts. A thorough understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and statutory accounts are essential.

Requirements

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Self-motivated and organized with relevant experience in practice Experience with one or more of the following accountancy software packages: FreeAgent, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently while utilizing the support provided by the wider team Benefits
