This is a 12 month fixed term contract based 3 days a week in our office in Welwyn Garden City AL7 1EL and 2 days from home.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and motivate a team of Finance Administrators. Ensure effective training needs are identified and addressed and make sure cover across team tasks is always present. Review and sign off daily reconciliations. Ensure the payments are correct to our clients and agents and are processed in a timely manner. Monitor and challenge differences and aged balances across various reconciliations. Perform various internal and client reporting in a timely manner. Escalate incidents to a PayPoint leadership level and advise cross functionally the impacts of settlement issues. The ability to support problem solving activities is essential. Experience in liaising with technical and IT teams is preferential, as system issues will need to be understood and communicated, and the role must ensure a controlled and systematic approach is taken to data correction. Covering for management tasks across the Finance Operations team. Other ad-hoc administration duties and providing cover for other roles in the Finance Operations team. Qualifications & Experience:

Strong IT skills with good Excel knowledge Experience of working to tight deadlines Ability to work under pressure Flexibility to work extra if required People management or team coordination experience Financial background Strong Excel skills Reconciliation experience - bank account or balance sheet Banking/BACS experience
