Our client is a well-established independent firm of accountants with an excellent reputation in the local market. This is a fabulous opportunity for a recently or newly qualified ACA or ACCA qualified Accountant to work in a supervisory role. The role is based in Leatherhead and offers hybrid working. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider business and the senior management team.
Key Responsibilities
Review of statutory year-end accounts
UK financial reporting for limited companies, sole traders, and LLPs
Review the quality of more junior team members and also offer support to active studiers within the team
Skills and Experience
The successful Accountant will be ACA or ACCA (or the equivalent) Qualified or a late-stage studier
Experience of statutory accounts preparation gained in a Practice environment
Good IT experience including Xero
Experience in managing a portfolio of clients and supervising junior staff
Salary and Benefits
Salary of £40,000 - £46,000 plus an excellent range of benefits, including hybrid working.
Location
The Accountant role is based in Leatherhead and is commutable from Kingston, Egham, Sunbury, Dorking, Reigate, Epsom, Leatherhead, Woking and surrounding areas.
