Husky is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst that will play a critical role in ensuring that Husky Executives are supported with incisive financial analysis that illuminates what truly drives performance. The successful candidate will prepare monthly reporting and analysis, conduct complex ad-hoc analysis, support the budget and forecasting processes, and assist in the preparation of presentations for the Board of Directors and Executive leadership. Responsibilities: Generate monthly reporting on performance relative to budget and prior year and conduct analysis that provides insights on what is truly driving business performance. Develop accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts based on the understanding of actuals and business performance drivers. Work with the Business and the FP&A team to develop business unit and consolidated annual budgets. Prioritize and address ad-hoc requests in a timely fashion to facilitate correct Management decisions. Develop flexible, accurate financial models and reports that clearly present key findings and assumptions. Manage schedule for all reporting and filing deadlines. Identify and communicate reporting inconsistencies to ensure accuracy and alignment in reporting and messaging. Drive standardization across reporting and functions, and execute continuous improvement and automation of manual financial processes leveraging best practices. Leverage existing and future tools – PowerBI, Dynamics AX, Microsoft Excel (Macro and VBA experience an asset), and Microsoft Power Pivot. Assemble monthly financial reporting package for various stakeholders; Private Equity Owners, Audit Committee, Lenders, Internal Management. Standardize reports into PowerBI. Qualifications & Experience: Accounting designation or in progress (CPA, CGA, CA, CMA) and/or MBA preferred. Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), comfortable with Pivot Tables, graphs, and modeling data with multiple sources. Experience with Infor Baan, PowerBI, Dynamics AX, Microsoft Power Pivot, and Excel Macros/VBA is an asset. We are looking for a candidate with 1-2 years of previous experience who can jump in and immediately start adding value with our MRA à Excel reporting. Ideally, they will also have Baan / AX experience and can help us move some of our reports into PowerBI.
