An outstanding opportunity has arisen within a prestigious manufacturing business in Huddersfield. We are seeking a newly qualified, career-driven Finance Business Partner to step into a newly created role due to a period of significant growth. This represents an exciting opportunity for any ambitious, commercially focused accountant to make a significant impact. In this role, you will work closely with the Finance Director, Financial Controller, and wider business using commercial expertise to support and drive the business forward. Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver detailed financial analysis to support business performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for departmental reviews. Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives. Collaborate with operational teams, providing financial insights to influence decision-making and improve profitability. Act as the primary finance contact for department heads, offering advice on cost control, pricing, and investment decisions. Build strong relationships across the business to ensure financial awareness and accountability at all levels. Work closely with production and procurement teams to analyse costs and identify efficiency improvements. Review and refine product costings, ensuring profitability is optimised across all projects and product lines. Conduct margin analysis to highlight underperforming areas and recommend remedial actions. Provide financial modelling and analysis to support new business opportunities, capital investments, and strategic projects. Assist the Finance Director in preparing board reports and presentations for senior stakeholders. Contribute to the development and implementation of financial systems and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications/Experience

Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role. Proven experience in an SME environment, ideally within manufacturing or construction. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret financial data and communicate effectively with non-financial stakeholders. Proficient in financial systems and advanced Excel skills. Experience in cost accounting, project accounting, or margin analysis is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and hands-on approach to challenges. A collaborative team player who can build trust and influence at all levels. Resilient, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail while maintaining a focus on the bigger picture. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
