Sales Ledger Analyst

We are looking for a Sales Ledger Analyst to join our finance team in Peterborough on a permanent basis. You will be performing daily cash allocations for customers' payments and ensuring that customers’ accounts are reporting accurate outstanding balances on a timely basis. You will be making strong connections with both our internal and external customers, guaranteeing the seamless meeting of all deadlines. Our Team Our dynamic Accounts Receivable Team, comprising a dedicated manager, three team leaders, and 16 team members, is helping to shape the future of our company. In the team we manage governing new customer relationships, coordinating sales systems/CRM interfaces for monthly billing, ensuring timely delivery of invoices and statements, efficient cash collection, accurate posting of cash to customer accounts, and meticulous reporting on aged debt and bad debt. What you will do Process daily multi-currency receipts in a timely manner via S4 Hana. Reconciliation of receipts to income invoices raised. Being the first point of contact for raising sales/income sales orders in S4 Hana. Processing manual finance sales orders in a timely manner. Process customer credit notes. Process sales ledger refunds, along with open item clearing activities. Produce ad hoc reports when required. Support cash collections activities, credit vetting process & customer queries when required. Support the customer master data governance process. Manage month end closing activities. What you will bring Experience working in a finance environment. Highly attentive to detail and diligent. Ability to manage and organise varied workload and deadlines. Knowledge of basic accounting. Strong Excel knowledge.
