Our client is looking for an Interim Service Charge Accountant for 6 months to join them as soon as possible. The role would suit an analyst who can establish excellent working relationships with stakeholders from various directorates and is confident making decisions on service charge recovery, budget setting, and service improvements. Duties: Accurate calculation and issue of all service charges including annual and major work charges for properties. Ensuring an excellent customer-focused service to residents and clients whilst making sure all legal obligations are met. Assisting the rents and service charge manager. Responsible for the accurate calculation of rents, make up of service charge and rent setting. Actualising end of year accounts. Provide specialist advice and guidance. Experience required: Previous experience in service charge and rent setting. Knowledge of legislation and regulations. Prior experience of variable service charges.
