Management Accountant

£55,000 - £60,000 + bonus & benefits

Responsibilities:
Provide detailed commentary for the monthly management accounts packs.
Business partner to key stakeholders.
Oversee multiple Head Office departments and overheads.
Work closely with other finance teams.
Manage the fixed asset register for month-end, year-end, and forecasting purposes.
Perform monthly balance sheet and control account reconciliations.
Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, both historically and in forecast scenarios.
Directly manage a team of two junior accountants.
Review and ensure timely reconciliation of monthly bank statements, ensuring all customer receipts are accurately matched.
Work alongside the Financial Accounts team to support other banking functions.
Oversee the financial accounting for company entity, ensuring timely completion of quarterly management accounts ahead of Trustee meetings.
Lead the year-end audit process, collaborating closely with external auditors.
About You:
Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
Ideally Retail / consumer Background
Ability to work autonomously when required, whilst still possessing strong teamwork skills.
The candidate should be a self-starter, who is willing and able to take initiative
Strong communication skills, with an ability to liaise with internal property team, external suppliers and senior management
Advanced excel skills
