About us Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust is one of only a few trusts in the country that are providers of both mental and physical health and learning disability services that has care available to them for every stage of someone's life.
Our team of 6,500 staff who work from over 300 sites care for people in hospital and in the community, helping them to recover and go on to lead full and productive lives.
We provide care and treatment for around 1.7 million people across both rural and urban areas of the South Coast delivering services in the community (at home, in GP surgeries), hospital and forensic (secure) units.
Our aim is to work alongside the people we support and our health and care partners, to constantly improve and deliver the best possible care.
We are keen to ensure that our workforce reflects the community it serves, particularly in terms of ethnicity, gender, disability, LGBTQ+ and experience of mental illness.
It's not all about work, and our locations have good road and rail links to London. The national airports are in easy travelling distance along with good ferry links to Europe.
