Insurance Credit Control / Technical Accounts. To £41,000 + bonus For a candidate with insurance industry credit control experience this could be an excellent opportunity to join a well established but rapidly growing insurance group with an excellent market reputation. Reinsurance and/or Lloyds market experience would be beneficial, with a minimum of a working understanding of reinsurance settlements The successful candidate will complete a monthly cycle of tasks that accelerate the collection of client receivables and payables and minimise all aged debt. To meet pre agreed targets for such collections and to ensure that all feedback is appropriately processed and followed up, whilst effectively managing all assigned Programs from a technical back office perspective, aligned with the front-end Account Managers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Monitoring and chasing of all debt to ensure prompt settlement of premium by telephone, email and meeting internal and external SLAs to investigate and resolve any unallocated cash Processing of claims and premium information on to the company software Preparing, validating and rendering inwards and outward settlements, ensuring they adhere to the contractual responsibilities and individual technical accounts Maintain client feedback onto the relevant systems in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that this is kept up to date and that any unanswered feedback is followed up. Ensure that any required actions are escalated to the account handlers. Production of month end management reporting Ensure feedback received is comprehensive and addresses all criteria thus providing dashboard users with a true and accurate position Participation in internal and external meetings, including attending meetings with Underwriters, developing client/MGA relationships, and assisting with due diligence assessments of potential Coverholder’s credit control activities and practices Reviewing transactional records to identify data quality issues, to be resolved with the parties providing the data for long-term fixes Review bank accounts, bank cheques and allocate cash on a daily basis Identify and resolve issues where possible, escalating risks, and highlighting any settlement/MGA Client issues to appropriate personnel To interrogate, as appropriate, inwards submissions and clients’ data in order to resolve problems and answer queries
