My client is currently looking to recruit an outstanding Semi Senior Accountant who is willing to continually work in a proactive manner in order to help their clients succeed, this is on behalf of a well-established Top 75 firm.
The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who not only has experience of working in a semi senior role but who is also able to work as part of a team and also on their own initiative. Be self-motivated and confident in their job role.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of limited company accounts and corporation tax computations
Preparation of accounts for sole traders and partnerships
Preparation of personal tax returns
Preparation and review of VAT returns and dealing with VAT queries
Preparation of management accounts
Dealing with general business enquiries from clients
Key Skills/Requirements:
Must have at least 6 years’ experience of working in an accountancy practice
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and a professional approach to clients
IT literate including Microsoft Office
Previous experience of using Iris, QuickBooks and Sage software would be a strong advantage
