About the Role
You’ll be working within the firm’s tax advisory service team, providing support for complex tax matters and working on one-off tax advisory projects.
These projects can be wide-ranging in nature. But, fundamentally, you’ll be helping senior managers, directors, partners, and the firm at large deliver projects to the highest possible standards.
You’ll be working on a wide range of projects for the firm’s extensive portfolio of clients. Some examples of projects you may work on include
Transactions:
preparing tax due diligence reports, providing tax input during the valuation process, and reviewing transaction legal documents, warranties, and tax deeds.
Restructuring:
offering advice on group reorganisations, intra-group asset transfers, family succession, and demergers. You’ll also liaise with lawyers to prepare transaction documents and advice on stamp duty issues.
Corporate:
advising complex corporate tax issues, such as corporate interest restriction, loan relationships, and group relief optimisation. You will also prepare and review complex or high-risk corporate tax returns.
Financing:
reviewing the tax circumstances of investors within different investment structures and preparing company and partnership tax returns for fund structures.
Who You Are
You’ll already have experience working as a tax professional, with significant experience working on corporate matters, such as taxation, structuring, and transactions.
