We currently have vacancies for Principal Planning Officers within the Development Management Team. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Planning Officer to play a key role in the determination and delivery of high-quality development and providing a nationally recognised ‘platinum service’, exceeding targets. With considerable experience in Development Management, you will have excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. You will work well in a team environment, managing a challenging but interesting case load of planning and associated applications. You will be tenacious, thorough, adaptable, and will welcome a challenge. This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your experience and knowledge in a positive, dedicated, supportive, and friendly service, working in interesting and valued rural and urban environments. We are an ‘open for business’ council and we pride ourselves on providing proactive positive advice to developers. Enjoy a balanced work-life with a minimum of two days in the office and the flexibility to work from home for the rest of the week.
