Deputy Care Home Manager

A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Care Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in the Spixworth, Norwich area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers. This care home offers residential care for people who need help with daily tasks, and respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break. To be considered for this position, you must have an NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care. As the Deputy Manager, your key responsibilities include: Lead and inspire the team to deliver special experiences to residents, promoting choice and independence to make a positive difference in their lives. Achieve the highest possible standards of care and enhance the resident experience, ensuring that all company policies, regulations, Codes of Conduct, and care plans are adhered to. Work with the Home Manager to implement care home policies around standards of care, staff welfare, and training, and develop an excellent reputation. Develop personal contact with residents, their relatives, and visitors to enhance the residents' quality of life. Deputise in the overall management of the care home, including the production of reports, budgets, and Quality of Life monitoring. Take responsibility for the health, safety, and welfare of yourself and others, including colleagues, residents, and visitors to the Home, and alert the officers responsible to any hazards or potential risks to health and safety. Ensure the team attends training days and courses to maintain learning records and develop individuals. The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £35,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role working through Day Shifts only.
