Role Requirements:
Biodiversity Net Gain experience, in particular carrying out and coordinating biodiversity impact assessments, BNG option assessments for planning applications and drafting and agreeing Biodiversity Gain Plans. Experience of the purchase of biodiversity units and credits as part of an offsetting scheme. Ecological survey experience including Phase 1 Habitat Surveys, Ecological Impact Assessments, Biodiversity Enhancement & Management Plans, Natural England license applications (bats, great crested newt, and badger) and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments. Experience of the planning and coordination of specialist ecological surveyors (independent contractors) who are likely to be based nationwide near to individual development sites. Experience in providing reports for planning submissions and discharging of conditions attached to planning permissions.
