Derbyshire Dales Community Energy Ltd. (DDCE) particularly need people with the following skills: Communications, marketing, social media, digital Writing (e.g. articles, press releases) Relationship-building with strategic/influential individuals & organisations DDCE are also seeking one director who is willing to take on the duties of Treasurer. DDCE will support all new directors and volunteers with a warm welcome and an induction into the workings of DDCE. You’ll meet their 5 existing board members and 1 paid staff member. If you’re keen to get involved but are a bit less experienced, their friendly Board member, Elspeth, will be happy to mentor you. For much of their work, it’s helpful if their directors and volunteers live in the local area. However, they are open to ‘remote’ positions for some relevant skillsets. The majority of Board meetings are held on Zoom, and they are keen to work with great people, wherever they live! Please send us your CV and a short cover letter (500 words max.) explaining why you want to join DDCE and what skills and experiences you would bring to your role.
