Education Manager IN SHORT MK College Group have an exciting opportunity for a creative Maths Tutor/Lecturer to join the team based at HMP Send. As a Maths Tutor/Lecturer, you will engage prison-based learners with creative classes and resources. Many learners have diverse needs and learning abilities, often having had negative experiences with education. As a successful Maths Tutor, you will inspire them and provide a positive learning experience. This role may involve outreach work outside the main classroom setting, connecting with learners in a professional manner, supporting them with their learning, and enabling them to achieve success through qualifications and the development of confidence and softer skills applicable to employment and further education. We seek an individual who can communicate well with learners to inspire and motivate them. The average class consists of 6 learners, and sessions are approximately 3 hours long. We are looking for a tutor who can inspire and teach Functional Skills Maths at Entry Level through to Level 2. Your lessons will need to be adaptable, innovative, and imaginative. MK College will treat all applicants fairly and with respect, irrespective of their background, disability, or any other individual characteristic.
