Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our client secondary schools in Wigan who are seeking an English Teacher for an immediate start initially until Christmas. This post will continue until Christmas in the first instance. Our client school are seeking an English Teacher to teach across KS3 and KS4.
The successful English Teacher will be joining a Wigan client school and department which aims to develop independent, resilient, creative thinkers and learners through the key skills of reading, writing and spoken language. The English curriculum is challenging, creative and innovative to cultivate a well-rounded English student with skills and knowledge that can be used in all of their subjects, across all disciplines and in all exams. At KS4, our client school teach English following the AQA specification.
Pay for this position is up to £223.62 per day, depending on experience.
Minimum Requirements:
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification Experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4 Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum Legal right to work in the UK Full enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure This position is subject to safer recruitment checks including suitable references, DBS and overseas police check if applicable.
