You will implement Arla Food’s QEHS standards and policies, ensuring that we maintain the relevant certifiable standards, customer demands, legislation and site standards in a cost- conscious manner. Key responsibilities include; Custodian of site systems and Quality and Food Safety Compliance Leads and manages the internal and external audit function Conducts process confirmations, validations and ensures trial protocols are used effectively Coaching/training of colleagues to drive improvements in Food Safety & Quality Supports and drives the effective use of relevant QEHS IT platforms. Centuri, MDE, UL360, etc. Plays a leadership role with HACCP/Food Safety programme Drives the Quality, Health & Safety culture and mindset on site through engagement with site teams, ensuring a healthy, inclusive and safe working environment. Plays a key role in
handling, trending, investigating and resolving customer related QEHS issues. Assists with RCAs to drive improvements in Food Safety & Quality. Provides relevant reports to site and business group management as applicable. What you’ll need in order to be successful in the role The ideal candidate will have: Proven background experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (FMCG or food manufacturing would be advantageous) Previous auditing experience, with knowledge of BRC and/or retailer standards A degree in Quality, Food Science, Microbiology or a related field A technical background, with HACCP Level 3 and Food Safety Level 3 as a minimum NEBOSH certificate and IEMA certificate advantageous Things We’d Love To Tell You About Our Settle Site Arla Settle is the home of our Lactofree products, producing Lactofree ESL and also conventional UHT milk for UK and export markets.
