We are seeking an experienced Head of Social Media Marketing to elevate our presence across various channels and platforms. This senior-level position requires a strategic thinker who can distill complex challenges into actionable strategies and drive impactful campaigns that resonate with our target consumers. Your role will involve collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand brand priorities and translate them into relevant consumer-focused strategies. Lead and manage a team of Social Media Creators to build and develop a new style/approach to Lastminute’s social content. Creatively bring to life Lastminute’s social media strategy that sets us apart on newsfeeds, stories, and more. Create a weekly end-to-end content production machine. Work with the Brand Team to develop monthly creatively chaotic ideas for key projects. Be an influence, coach and support to the wider social and brand teams. Keep your finger on the pulse of the latest social media trends. Publish and distribute content across channels when required. Put the consumer at the heart of any response using data and storytelling. Bring true leadership in social media. Be data savvy and monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs). Manage and develop influencer strategy and relationships. Who you are:
Solid experience in leading and growing social media marketing and influencer management. Proven mid-weight designer/motion human, comfortable with video editing tools. Experience managing a team of creatives and building end-to-end production process. Experience producing video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok & YouTube Shorts. An understanding of video content, social media formats, and hooks. Proven ability to distil complex challenges into simple strategies. Strong proficiency in planning and measuring effectiveness across social media. Excellent leadership skills. Data-driven mindset with a deep understanding of social media platforms.
