Providing leadership, management, and development of a defined contract, ensuring financial and operational commitments are met and exceeded. Job Summary: Provide leadership and ensure that contractual commitments are met and exceeded. Ensure that opportunities for the strategic development of the contract are exploited to deliver increased turnover and profitability. Ensure business policies and processes are effectively communicated and implemented within the contract. Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions and that both clients and company health and safety policies are effectively implemented. Ensure optimum staffing structures operate across contracts, balancing cost reduction with the delivery of service excellence. Ensure contracts are staffed by fully competent teams and that effective succession planning arrangements are in place. Work with other Operational Managers to ensure collaborative development of the business and effective teamworking. Develop contract financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, reduction of WOM, debt, cost reduction, and contract growth. Ensure appropriate control systems to meet statutory, policy, and contractual commitments. Ensure a customer focus within all areas of operational activities and maintain effective relationships with key client contracts. Promote and maintain the core RISE Values of CBRE Managed Services. Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, and support to deliver best practice in selection, training, assessment, and recognition/reward. Deliver effective business communication through management and team meetings, briefings, and reporting. Support the sales process through solutions development and participation in presentations and consultation meetings. Provide a learning environment and appropriate training and development planning. Accountabilities: Reporting to a CBRE Alliance Director. Accountability to the CBRE functional heads as appropriate. Accountable day-to-day to the relevant client contracts. Line management responsibility for a contract team and indirectly for the relevant sub-contractors. Financial responsibility for the delivery of Plan commitments for the contract. An engineering qualification is essential, preferably HND or above. Training:

Incumbents must be able to demonstrate a career showing continuous personal development. Experience: [Essential] Managerial experience at Contract/Account Manager or above within technical and/or hard services. [Desirable] Delivery of wider facilities management services. The development and review of teams, appraisal, and effective people management practice. Aptitudes: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Character: Excellent motivational and influencing skills, with high levels of personal integrity. Has vision and can communicate this effectively. A role model for customer service. Analytical. Creative: Able to contribute effectively across all business activities. Politically astute. Must have a high level of energy, be self-starters, confident, and stable in manner. Circumstances: Incumbents will be required to travel to support operational delivery and participate in training and business review. Some overnight stays will be needed.
