West Midlands A main civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced civil site manager to work on a heavy build project based in Shispton on Stour in Gloucester. The project itself is valued at up to £7 million and involves the construction of a care home; build experience is essential. Ideal candidate: 5 years’ experience as a site manager. Degree qualified or have a similar construction management qualification. Main contracting experience. A strong track record as a Site Manager. Experience seeing projects from inception to completion. CSCS Card. SMSTS certificate. First Aid Certificate. The responsibilities for this role: Overseeing all of the site staff including subcontractors. Ensuring Health and Safety is up to the client’s standard. Responsibility for the whole site. Ensuring all method statements are correct. Site managing the project from start to finish.
