The Role:

As the Senior Software Product Owner for our cutting-edge Wind Turbine Monitoring and Maintenance Optimization platform, you'll be the driving force behind product development and execution. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll craft solutions that not only meet customer needs but also unlock significant business value.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Agile Teams to Success:

Guide a high-performing, cross-functional Scrum team, ensuring seamless collaboration, and alignment with agile methodologies to deliver exceptional results.

Transform Vision into Action:

Turn innovative designs into actionable user stories, complete with detailed acceptance criteria, ensuring the product evolves continuously and purposefully.

Own the Backlog:

Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, making data-driven decisions that align with strategic business goals, market trends, and customer needs.

Define and Drive Success:

Establish and monitor KPIs that measure impact and ensure that the product's development aligns with overarching business objectives.

Customer-Centric UX:

Partner with UI/UX teams to integrate real customer feedback into the design process, driving continuous improvement and user delight.

Champion the Voice of the Customer:

Advocate for customer needs and perspectives in every sprint planning and goal-setting session, ensuring we're always delivering value.

Create and Communicate a Bold Vision:

Inspire both technical and non-technical stakeholders by articulating a clear, compelling product vision that ties into broader business strategies.

Shape the Product Roadmap:

Work alongside the Product Manager to keep the product roadmap dynamic and transparent, ensuring alignment with strategic goals while communicating progress across the organization.

Enable Market Success:

Support go-to-market efforts by providing product demos, knowledge, and training to sales and marketing teams, positioning the product for maximum impact.

Be the Product Evangelist:

Become the internal and external champion for the product, driving excitement, engagement, and alignment across teams and stakeholders.

Ideally you'll have/be:

Experience:

5-7+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably within SaaS, industrial tech, or renewable energy. Proven success delivering complex, market-ready software solutions using agile methodologies. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and shape product strategy.

Technical Expertise:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). Deep understanding of technical challenges in areas such as condition monitoring, asset management, or performance analysis. Confident in making informed decisions about technical trade-offs while bridging communication between developers and business stakeholders.

Exceptional Communication:

Outstanding ability to distil complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messages for diverse audiences. Adept at facilitating collaboration between developers, designers, and business stakeholders.

Leadership & Team Collaboration:

Proven leadership in cross-functional settings, with the ability to inspire teams and foster a culture of alignment and shared purpose. Thrives in managing multiple priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes with minimal oversight.

Analytical Mindset:

Strong data-driven decision-making abilities. Skilled in using analytics to drive strategy, track performance, and optimize processes. Adept at solving complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Project Management Mastery:

Expert project management skills, ensuring features are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
