Job Purpose: As a BI & Data Engineer, you will create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into actionable knowledge. Your role involves supporting and maintaining existing reports, contributing to our enterprise reporting strategy, and implementing methods to improve data reliability and quality. You will develop and test architectures that enable data extraction and transformation for predictive or prescriptive modelling, combining raw information from different sources into consistent and machine-readable formats. About you: Previous experience in Power BI development. Proven experience as a BI & Data Engineer. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize,

analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention

to detail and accuracy. Desirable software engineering skills, including working with Git

source control, CI/CD. Experience with SQL databases and T-SQL. Knowledge of programming languages such as T-SQL and Python is

desirable. Experience with Azure Data Factory v2/Azure Synapse Analytics is

desirable. Familiarity with data integration tools, ETL/ELT processes, and data

formatting. Experience with data/reporting from MS Dynamics 365 F&O. Experience in the pharmaceuticals industry and familiarity with

pharmaceutical data such as IQVIA data and Salesforce. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical

writing. Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field; a master’s

degree is a plus. Certifications in data engineering/BI development are advantageous. Salesforce/IQVIA OCE/Veeva qualifications are a big plus. About the role: Develop appropriate reporting solutions using tools like Power BI

and Excel Pivot to meet business needs. Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and

provide ongoing reports. Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and data

analytics to optimize reporting efficiency and quality. Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain

databases/data systems. Conduct unit testing and troubleshoot bugs to maintain data

integrity. Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses. Design, build, and deploy data pipelines; maintain and support these

pipelines. Create strategic dashboards and assist in BI and data strategy. Provide technical end-user training for dashboards, reports, and

datasets. Implement an effective reporting delivery model to ensure clear

processes for requesting new reports and utilizing existing reporting

assets. Work with management to prioritize business and information needs. Identify and define new process improvement opportunities. Participate in technical data architecture discussions and decisions.
