Agricultural General Manager General Manager (Fruit)– Hereford - £75,000 DOE + Bonus + Accommodation The Company: This leading fruit business is recognised for its high-quality production and efficient packing operations. The Job: As General Manager you will oversee all aspects of the operations, including fruit growing, picking and packing. You will be responsible for aligning the business with the strategic objectives set by the board and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the packhouse. This role involves managing performance against key business metrics, ensuring customer satisfaction through compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, and optimising efficiency across the business. You will also lead and develop a competent management team, oversee stock control and packaging, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in operational processes. The Candidate:

3-5 years of leadership experience in a similar role, preferably within the fresh produce sector Strong IT skills, particularly proficiency in Microsoft Excel Expertise with industry standards such as BRC, HACCP, LEAF, and Red Tractor accreditation A proven ability to lead teams, drive operational improvements, and meet business goals Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and senior management The Package:
