KEY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts. Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions. Monitor financial performance and prepare regular reports for senior management. Budget Management:
Oversee the preparation and management of the company's budget. Ensure compliance with budgetary constraints and identify areas for cost savings. Accounting and Reporting:
Supervise the accounting team of 4 and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Maintain the integrity of financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Cash Flow Management:
Manage the company's cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations. Develop and implement cash management strategies. Risk Management:
Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations. Audit and Compliance:
Coordinate internal and external audit. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other financial legal requirements. Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a finance function of 7, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Provide training and development opportunities for team members. Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies. Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and business growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will be an experienced ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) Finance Manager, preferably with experience gained in either FMCG, retail or hospitality. This role would suit an experienced Financial Manager who has previously managed cross-functional teams and has a detailed understanding of bottom-up finance systems and processes. The successful candidate will be detail orientated with exceptional organisational skills with a natural desire to streamline process and efficiencies.
