So whether it is providing ticket access to the hottest artist’s global tour or overseeing a carefully curated promotional campaign around a new Cardmember benefit strategy, Momentum are at the heart of it. We are looking for an experienced Account Director to lead across Amex’s global entertainment partners. Activating benefits and promotion with artists, promoters, venues and ticketers alike. This role will suit someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership and leadership of this always-on programme and who has a varied skillset in partnerships, media and project management. / RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee a team to execute music and sport access benefits (e.g. ticketing) across Amex’s global entertainment partnerships (e.g. AEG, Wimbledon, F1) Lead the strategic direction of American Express in ticket access across music and sport Lead senior client and partner relationships, from promoters, to venues, to agents. Lead the team and work closely with media agencies to build integrated promotional campaigns to reach Amex’s key audiences. Build strong relationships with external agency teams to create and execute ATL and BTL marketing and communications campaigns across Europe, Asia and ANZ Comfortable working across multiple time zones (European, American, Asian and Australasian), and managing the occasional early morning and late night call Serve as bridge between client and partners Work closely with US counterparts for global opportunities (music and sport) Lead the team in undertaking in depth research and analysis of global artists and entertainment properties to support client goals and direction of programme Stay abreast of trends and opportunities within entertainment so that you are able to positively influence programme KPIs Oversee the analysis and measurement of ATL and BTL campaigns including deck creation and presentation to clients and stakeholders Demonstrate working knowledge of Momentum’s core disciplines Create a team environment that facilitates mutual respect and partnership across functions; quality thinking; appropriate risk taking; strong internal communications; and regular performance feedback / WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Agency experience, ideally in live entertainment and/or ticketing A leader with integrated marketing knowledge in media, communications and partnerships An active interest in music and entertainment The ability to lead complex relationships and multiple stakeholders Strong client management skills with an acute attention to detail Goal and results orientated Self-motivated - a team player, yet can work alone Organised with a high attention to detail and the ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously Comfortable working with numbers and measurement
