As the VP of Technology Operations based in Vienna you will oversee operational technology functions to enable a performant, agile, stable, and secure organisation. This includes managing DevOps, Infrastructure, Security Engineering and Operations, Service Management, Business IT, and Enterprise Applications, all of which will support product innovation and internal teams such as Risk, Treasury, and Finance.
Your mission
What you’ll do: Lead and oversee DevOps, Infrastructure, Security Operations, and Business IT teams to ensure scalability, stability, and security across the organisation. Ensure security and compliance measures are proactive, aligning with regulatory requirements and focusing on threat detection. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other internal teams such as Finance, Risk, and Treasury to support product development. Drive automation initiatives across the business to increase efficiency and eliminate repetitive tasks. Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Influence and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A proven leader with extensive experience in technology operations within a regulated financial or FinTech environment. Highly skilled in DevOps, infrastructure management, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, automation technologies, and first line security topics. Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, particularly in the financial sector. Excellent communicator and collaborator, able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. A strategic thinker with a track record of driving data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.
