Director, Business Development We are seeking a talented

Director, Business Development

to join our dynamic team in Cambridge, MA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in broadening our service offering, deepen client partnerships, and acquire new clients in the Life Sciences sector. Role Overview: As a Business Development Director, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth, fostering client relationships, driving improvements in our Business Development processes and enhancing VCLS’s market influence within the Life Sciences sector. Reporting to our Chief Business Officer you will: Meet sales targets and profitability goals

by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across VCLS’s service portfolio. Partner

with the Business Development team

in developing proposals, managing commercial agreements, and nurturing relationships throughout the client lifecycle. Collaborate with Senior Leadership, BU Heads, and Marketing

to craft and execute a strategic, growth-focused business development plan for the US market. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships

with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, VCLS experts, and industry leaders. Leverage VCLS’s local and global assets

(such as VCLS experts, Start-up incubators, and Marketing) to solidify VCLS’s unique positioning in the US Life Science ecosystem. Work cross-functionally

to create, communicate, and deliver client-centric solutions tailored to specific business needs. Represent VCLS at industry events, conferences, and networking functions,

enhancing our visibility and influence. Track and report commercial performance metrics

to ensure transparency and accountability. Provide market insights and client feedback

to inform senior management about emerging needs and market dynamics. Live our PIPE values (People, Innovation, Passion, Excellence) Passionate about Life Sciences

with a deep appreciation for the rapid advancements in the field. 10+ years

of relevent experience in business development. An action-oriented leader

who inspires and motivates others. Entrepreneurial spirit, global perspective, and corporate acumen

enable you to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Curious, empathetic, and consultative

in approach, allowing you to understand clients' needs and develop customized solutions. An exceptional communicator

with the agility to build relationships across varying levels of seniority and expertise. Driven by innovation
