Data Platform Engineer
at Every Cure, you'll contribute directly to our mission by designing and implementing the architectural solutions critical to our AI-powered platform. You'll collaborate with data scientists, external contractors, and stakeholders to shape the future of data-driven drug repurposing. The Data Platform Engineer will report directly to the Head of Engineering and work closely with researchers, data scientists, and tech translators to develop innovative methodologies for data utilization aimed at transforming drug repurposing. What you’ll bring to the team: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 4+ years of experience in software development, with a strong foundation in data modeling and big data technologies. Proficiency in general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Scala) and big data platforms (SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, BigQuery). Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and Unix/Linux systems. Experience with Functional Programming and Test-Driven Development (TDD). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and database technologies (RDBMS, MPP, NoSQL is a plus). Experience in Machine Learning platforms such as PyTorch, Ray, MLFlow, or similar ML & compute technologies is preferred. Experience in Kedro, Neo4J, and Kubernetes is a plus. A collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate technical ideas effectively to various stakeholders.
