£30,000 - £42,000/yr (dependent on experience and knowledge) About the role Established in 2002, TBAT Innovation is a vibrant niche consultancy with an overarching aim to stimulate and support research and development focused businesses to innovate. Our main service offerings centre around providing support to access grant funding and secure R&D tax credits. We are currently 30 people, with a head office in the East Midlands, a developing office in Oxford, covering the UK, working across a wide range of sectors including energy, transport and health. Our business has grown by an average of 24% year on year over the past five years and is forecasted to accelerate further. Research and development (R&D) tax credits are a government incentive designed to reward UK companies for investing in innovation. They are a great source of cash for businesses to invest in further R&D and enable growth. For a small profit-making business, these tax credits can mean that they receive 25% of what they spent on R&D back as a cash payment. You will be joining a fast-growing R&D team and as such, you will have the opportunity to play a key part in the continued growth of the business. Responsibilities Assist clients in claiming R&D tax credits. Conduct research to identify eligible projects and expenditures. Prepare and submit tax credit claims. Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation. Stay updated on relevant tax legislation and incentives. Qualifications Relevant degree or equivalent experience in finance, accounting, or a related field. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
