The Corporate Communications team at Apollo, which leads all communications, corporate brand and corporate marketing activities globally, is seeking a new team member who is a self-starter with strong writing and media relations skills, excellent project management skills, and exceptional judgement. This role will sit in the London office and help cover Apollo's European Platform which encompasses approx. _ of the firm’s AUM. Primary Responsibilities

The corporate communications role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including: Working with Apollo Corp. Comms team and leaders across business lines to help develop and implement strategic communications plans and tactics to support broader corporate objectives. Media relations support and engagement, including proactive pitching, transaction support, and issues management. Primary developer of certain materials and presentations spanning both internal and external communications. This may include press releases, briefings, case studies, and other content. Research, planning, and execution associated with key external engagements including conferences and speaking; assistance on ad-hoc projects as needed. Collaborate on the tracking and distribution of materials related to analytics and other deliverables. Qualifications & Experience

5-10 years of relevant experience in communications (corporate or agency) with expertise in financial, transactional, and corporate communications and media relations. Exceptional writer and communicator; excellent project management skills. Proven ability to consistently make sound judgments, engage and build trust, and effectively collaborate with others. Strong work ethic with flexible and adaptable work style in order to operate efficiently under tight deadlines; self-motivated. Possesses excellent interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work independently. Experience in managing reputational risk and supporting crisis communications. Experience or deep understanding of communicating across varied platforms, content types, and technologies. Experience in developing metrics to quantify results to measure the team’s effectiveness. Acute attention to detail, ability to multi-task, willingness and desire to learn, and work well within a team are critical. Unquestionable professional and personal integrity. A team-player and self-starter, with a positive attitude. Experience in investment management industry and specifically private capital desired. Bachelor’s degree. About Apollo
