Candidates need RHS level 2 horticulture or NVQ level 3 or equivalent or be close to qualifying. You will need a good knowledge of horticultural equipment and machinery and ensure this is looked after and maintained, as well as an understanding of current health and safety requirements.
A PA1&6 spraying licence is desirable but not essential. The work is physical and may require heavy lifting, and you will need to be flexible in nature and happy to turn your hand to whatever is required on the day. A love for plants and gardening is essential, as are good verbal and written communication skills and excellent English. You must be able to work in a team, use your initiative, and have good attention to detail and high standards.
This is an opportunity for a dynamic person with lots of initiative to experience working for a small friendly company with a positive outlook.
