This is a key leadership role within the university, responsible for overseeing the strategic development and efficient operation of their MIS department.

Head of MIS – The Role:

Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of activities, combining strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in the development and management of information systems. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of their educational processes, ensuring data-driven decision-making across the university.

Head of MIS – Key Responsibilities:

Shape the direction of the MIS department by formulating and implementing a comprehensive strategy aligned with the university's broader goals. Spearhead initiatives to leverage data analytics for informed decision-making at various levels within the organisation. Oversee the full data lifecycle, from collection and analysis to reporting, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of information. Implement robust data governance practices to maintain data integrity and security. Lead the planning and execution of MIS system development projects, focusing on continuous improvement and innovation.

Head of MIS – You:

Proven track record in a senior MIS role within the further education and higher education sector. In-depth understanding of MIS systems, data management best practices, and reporting tools. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a dynamic team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Familiarity with the regulatory landscape and compliance requirements specific to the education sector.
