Trial Balance Consulting have been exclusively re-engaged by a previous client, a market leading technology provider, who urgently seek the assistance of an experienced Financial Controller. This role is being offered on an interim basis, likely to be circa 3-5 months, but with the possibility of turning permanent. This full-time position can be done almost completely remotely, although the successful candidate will be expected to live within a commutable distance to Exeter.
The role will report into a friendly and very experienced CFO, with key features of the role to include:
Day to day management of the current financial health of the business and future financial strategy
Production and delivery of detailed management accounts with commentary
Management of the payroll function
Overseeing the bookkeeping process
Identify and implement ongoing improvements to the function
Think you’ve got what it takes? We’re looking for a dynamic, energetic, and down-to-earth Financial Controller with a demonstrable history of success. A professionally qualified individual (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), or suitably qualified by vocational experience, you’ll need a solid background in supervising staff, preparation of financial and management reports, up to date knowledge of accounting standards and budgetary controls, and most certainly a natural leadership style.
The contract is available for immediate commencement and preference will be given to candidates that are able to commence quickly.
