Senior Mechanical Engineer £45k to £58k Crawley Are you an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer looking for an exciting new challenge? We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our client's highly skilled engineering team and lead the development of their complex projects. Responsibilities of the Senior Mechanical Engineer:

Lead a small project design team, ensuring quality solutions within budget and time constraints. Innovate in electro-mechanical mechanisms and precision machinery design. Perform lab tests to verify and ensure design outputs meet specifications. Develop detailed engineering reports for new product designs, failure investigations, and customer documentation. Create 3D designs using SolidWorks software. Collaborate on engineering analysis, including stress, fatigue, and vibration, using both conventional methods and computer simulations. Coordinate with engineering teams to integrate electronic, control, and drive systems into designs. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will have:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 4+ years of experience in Mechanical Design. Proficient in 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks. Skilled in load analysis and designing drive mechanisms and motor systems. Expertise in designing complex mechanisms and structures for harsh environments. Experienced in leading design projects from concept to production. Strong understanding of technical work and related activities. Knowledgeable in machining, casting, fabrication, and moulding techniques. Capable of leading a project design team's technical activities and managing workload.
