Group Financial Controller (Exclusive) VANRATH are delighted to be working exclusively with a dynamic group of companies based in Country Antrim to recruit a commercially astute hands-on Group Financial Controller. Reporting to the CEO, the Group Financial Controller will manage the day-to-day financial operations of the group, providing strategic guidance and robust financial reporting. Ensuring accurate and standardised financial control for each entity within the group. Management Accounts:

Producing timely monthly management accounts for each company and a consolidated monthly set of accounts, including Profit and Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cashflows. Budgeting and Variance Analysis:

Preparing an annual financial budget for each company with monthly detail and analysing variances between actual results and budgeted figures. Cash Flow Forecasting:

Generating both a group-level and individual company cash flow forecast, detailed by month, and overseeing cash management across the group's trading companies. Statutory Reporting:

Preparing annual statutory accounts for each subsidiary and consolidated accounts for the group holding company. Group Financial Management:

Engaging actively in managing the group's financial control function to ensure accuracy and alignment with strategic goals. Due Diligence for Acquisitions:

Participating in ad-hoc financial due diligence on acquisition targets alongside external advisors. Investor Relations:

Work with the investors in updating and maintaining the group financial model, including long-range business forecast. Debt Financing:

Work with senior management and investors on debt financings for the group. The Candidate: Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with significant post qualification experience in a senior financial management role. Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel) and financial modelling. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to the senior leadership team. High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
