We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the established and supportive practice near High Wycombe.
The usual rota is a 5-day week (8 hours per day). However, they are open to flexible working if it can be accommodated. Vets work a range of shifts, for example, 8:00am-4:00pm, 9:00am-5:00pm, 11:00am-7:00pm. These shifts vary day to day to allow for all Vets to have some early and some later start times. It also allows flexibility to request a certain shift on a certain day if you have any personal matters to attend to. The weekend rota is usually 1 in 4, and weekends can be swapped if needed. There are no out of hours.
The practice has 3 consultation rooms, 1 prep/dental area with dental x-ray, 1 theatre, 1 x-ray room, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, and separate dog and cat wards. As well as routine surgery, they perform orthopaedic and some more advanced soft tissue surgery. The practice has a family-like approach to the team and likes to build strong working relationships and friendships.
