This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of a wide range of wastewater infrastructure schemes, from project initiation through to completion. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in project delivery, supporting wastewater infrastructure schemes and working alongside an experienced team of engineers. You will be responsible for running large-scale projects and coordinating with multiple teams, ensuring the successful delivery of complex infrastructure solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead projects, ensuring coordination across disciplines within large schemes and managing project budgets. Engage with clients’ operational staff regarding both reactive and proactive works. Conduct strategic catchment assessments and develop scheme designs from inception to completion. Represent the consultancy at client meetings and deliver high-quality presentations. Manage and mentor team members, ensuring effective outputs and professional development. Support the development and improvement of internal processes and procedures. Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements and procedures. About the Candidate: The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in wastewater infrastructure, particularly in the UK. You will bring technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead teams in delivering successful outcomes. You should be committed to your professional development and looking to advance your career in civil engineering. Key Requirements: Chartered Engineer (CEng) with relevant post-chartered experience, or Incorporated Engineer (IEng) with relevant experience in wastewater. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong technical understanding of wastewater infrastructure. Experience with construction contracts and project bidding processes. Proficient in relevant computer software for engineering tasks. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and client presentations. Experience in team management and the ability to develop effective leadership skills. A collaborative, self-motivated team player.
