A key member of the European management team, with responsibility for the European Finance Teams reporting to the European Chief Financial Officer.

This role involves working closely with the European CFO across multiple sites in the region, providing timely and accurate financial information to ensure integrity of financial accounting processes and reporting in compliance with relevant jurisdictional tax and Financial Reporting Standards requirements in our current jurisdictions of UK and Italy, together with onboarding new jurisdictions from future growth and expansion if and when required.

Identify, with the European CFO, opportunities to improve working practices and processes in Finance and support their implementation through continuous improvement programs.

Proactively engage, constructively challenge and work with business partners to achieve financial and business goals and influence financially sound decision making.

As a key business partner, work closely with other functions such as Supply Chain, manufacturing and procurement to drive cost effective and margin improvement initiatives. Duties and Key Responsibilities

Responsible for managing the European finance and accounting operations Management and development of the European Finance teams Overseeing and reporting on the monthly financials, forecasts and annual plans Business performance analysis Interaction and presenting to the regional and group leadership teams Strategic business planning, providing insights to aid decision making Building and managing key internal and external relationships Cross Group working on issues such as reporting, process standardisation, compliance and other projects Key member and champion of the digitalisation strategy Business Partner, providing financial support and evaluation on projects and investments Drive a culture of curiosity and questioning to drive efficiency and better performance Compliance and Risk Management Additional controller duties as may be reasonably required. Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience

ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified with 5 years PQE Manufacturing experience Knowledge of Microsoft AX Experience of managing a team Ability to deal with a range of stakeholders Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise a demanding workload Regular overseas travel will be required £11000 - £12000 per annum + car allowance and bonus
