Our client based in a beautiful city and close to the stunning countryside in North Yorkshire is seeking a Consultant who specialises in Haematology. The hospital is situated in one of the most attractive locations in England and offers opportunities for city, coastal, or rural living. With the coastline on your doorstep and excellent schools nearby, this could be your chance to live your dream life.

The post holder will join a team of 6 other dedicated Consultants. They will contribute to clinical and laboratory work and be part of a one in seven non-resident on-call rota.

Minimum Requirements:

Full GMC Registration with License to Practice (ESSENTIAL) Entry on the GMC Specialist register in Haematology via; CCT (proposed CCT date must be within 12 months of interview) - CESR or European Community Rights An appropriate higher medical qualification i.e. MRCPath or equivalent and MRCP Ability to demonstrate clinical experience and skill in Haematology Experience of teaching undergraduate and post graduate trainees Demonstrates a sound knowledge of clinical governance practice

Additional Information:

An interest in Haemostasis and Thrombosis or Myeloid disorders would be desirable, but is not essential. Exact duties are open to negotiation depending on the interests of the successful applicant.
