The successful candidate will advise on a range of family and relationship matters including Divorce, Separation, Relationship Agreements, Children, Domestic Abuse and Financial settlements.
You will have a proven track record in delivering expert legal advice and high service levels to clients, whilst working independently on your own caseload.
As the firm continues to grow, the successful candidate will be keen to build their personal reputation as a Family Law specialist in the region, alongside that of the firm.
What experience do I need? This role will suit a Family Solicitor who is able to demonstrate:
Experience of advising in the areas of Divorce and Financial Remedy.
Experience of advising within Children Act Proceedings.
Experience in advising unmarried couples and on cohabitee disputes.
Experience of drafting pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements would be an advantage.
You should have the ability to manage your own caseload but there are experienced team members who will be able to provide support where needed.
What skills should I have?
Passionate and motivated about Family Law.
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate advice in an understandable way and actively listen in order to build trust with clients.
Ability to empathise and effectively resolve conflict.
Commercially aware and interested in business development.
