Your new company This fantastic nursery located in the Brighton area is looking for a Lead Nursery Teacher to join their expanding team. The nursery holds a 'Good' Ofsted rating and provides quality childcare for children ages 0-5 years. They have brilliant links with the local community and a fresh, energised approach to childcare.

Your new role As a Senior Nursery Teacher, you will lead the team in creating activities and support the children in their development. You will work closely with management and have responsibilities including:

Be aware of and take responsibility for all aspects of health, safety and security. Oversee children's developmental stages and maintain accurate records of observations and assessments. Work in partnership with parents/carers to encourage open communication. Be an inspiring role model for children and set high expectations. Support, develop, and motivate your co-workers. Comply with the EYFS framework and associated documentation. Ensure the curriculum is delivered to a high standard.

What you'll need to succeed It is essential to have Qualified Teacher Status and experience in a nursery/primary/pre-prep environment within the last 2 years. You will need a clean, enhanced DBS check or the nursery will run one for you. A flexible, engaging personality and a good understanding of children's development are crucial for this role.
